Mandarin & General is a clothing line founded in New York City by Taiwanese-born designer, Peggy Tan. Fundamentally guided by Tan’s sensitivity for the urban fun and chic, the line finds its inspiration in the heritage of Mandarin-dress making. It cleverly sources, reconsiders, and reinvents constructional tradition and details in Chinese garments that Mandarin & General ultimately translates into fresh and meaningful designs for today.
The clothing and accessories created by Mandarin & General emphasize comfort, simplicity, high functionality and versatility.
